Airbus was constructing a brand new, 36,000m2 headquarters campus in Blagnac and wanted to achieve BREEAM certification of at least VERY GOOD (top 25% of buildings). The objective required cutting as much carbon as possible while still providing employees with optimal comfort.

To meet this ambitious goal, our partners at Accenta, one of Eren Industries’ subsidiaries, designed a campus-wide heating and storage system, including low-carbon air conditioning and geothermal wells. Building the system from the ground up, meant that we could integrate the best solutions for this site, both physical and digital. Linking the system with Accenta’s proprietary controllers and AI software gave Airbus the BREEAM certification they were aiming for and even surpassed efficiency expectations.
